The VRC conducted its first internal TVR competition cum sharing session at the Yuhua CC on Sunday 25-6-06. This was an eagerly awaited
event for the members as it was again a chance to showcase their Ranchu as well as share their knowledge and experience. The Ranchu
were strictly limited to Junior and Tosai Ranchu and there were a total of about 20 Ranchu put up by the members. The Ranchu were

The activities commenced the night before and the white enamel basins were arranged and filled with water which was allowed to stand
overnight. The next morning at about 10am, in the comfort of the air-conditioned room, the benching-in progressed in an orderly manner
amidst much laughter and friendly banter. It was good to meet up again and the thought of spending the entire
morning with like-minded pals and looking at the beautiful Ranchu on display was enough to put a smile on everyone's face! The
rest of the guys also spent their time discussing and looking through the Japanese Ranchu magazines which were very informative (through
the pictures) as well as looking through a small club newsletter – Kingyo Info specially prepared by our club Chairman.
