The Guest of Honour, Mr. Seah Kian Peng, MP for Marine Parade GRC & Adviser to Marine Parade GRC GROs, graced the event with his presence later in the afternoon and went on an orientation tour of the competition guided by Mr. Desmond Lee from Vanda Ranchu Club, and followed with the prize presentation ceremony.
Although the quantity of the participating entries has fallen slightly compared with the previous shows, but the quality of the Show Ranchu was surprisingly astonished! It was obvious this time, most participants have made acumen choice and selection of their best Show Ranchu to show case and rival in the
competitive battle. The Judges have acknowledged they had some difficult debates in the discussion and decision with the award winning Ranchu for both categories and the quality of the Show Ranchu was amazing.
Top 5 prized trophies of each class were announced and awarded to the proud winners. And each category has also presented the highest honor of the Grand Champion awards that it was undeniable to the contenders of the 1st position of Side View Cat B and the 1st position of Top View Tosai Class. And there was also a prestigious medal award for the Most Potential Top View Ranchu of the Year to the distinctive winner who was the owner of 2nd position of Top View Tosai Class. This special medal was kindly sponsored by Mr. Geert Coppens from Ranchu Brotherhood and specially designed by Mr. Walter Daems from Ranchu Brotherhood.
3rd National Ranchu Competition was again, another resounding success!
