26 MAY 2005 NAGOYA RANCHU VISIT
Past Activities

Another great expedition the club members had made in the search of the Ranchu keeping this year. There are many Kuroko this year as compared to last year breeding season in Nagoya.

Very different from our last visit, we can see more emphasize of headgrowth and body.

Mr Tomonori Deguchi is a young and fun breeder. He has been learning Ranchu keeping and breeding since at a very young age from his grandfather, Mr Monden. I must say he has a good professional personality, politeness in nature and respect others’ opinions, especially towards the elderly. We can see his passion towards his baby Ranchu when we were visiting his farm. His recent Tosai Ranchu awarded 1st prize in our 1st National Ranchu Competition in Singapore.

Mr Mitomogumi, a respectful old-time breeder with more than 50 years of experience. He was gifted by Mr Yoshita Yamada, with the Ranchu egg for crossing his bloodline. We are really looking forward to see his future newborn.
